Everyday Teshuvah: Jewish Meditation for Daily LivingWith Rabbi Margie JacobsThe High Holidays are a beginning, not an end, to the process of teshuva and transformation. Each moment is an invitation to return to our intention to be a better parent, spouse, or friend; to act with more kindness to others and to ourselves; and to bring more wholeness and holiness into the world. In this weekly gathering, we will look to Jewish texts and the wisdom of our own hearts to inspire us and to remind us of our intentions. We will learn about and practice meditation techniques to cultivate the patience, attention, and compassion that make teshuvah possible, not only once a year but every day. Rabbi Margie Jacobs has served as Bay Area Regional Director of the Institute for Jewish Spirituality and rabbi of Temple Beth Hillel in Richmond. She has studied and taught meditation for over ten years. Wednesdays 7:15-8:45 |
