For Beth El members grieving the loss of a loved one

Beth El members and other adults in the family are invited to gather weekly in a supportive and comforting environment to express and explore their grief. Participants may be mourning a recent loss or marking the yahrzeit of a loved one who died in years past.

No registration is needed for this on-going, free, drop-in group. If you would like to speak with one of the facilitators to learn more, please contact Talia Krebs-Oppenheimer at the Beth El office.

Beth El’s Grief Support Group is a supportive place to share your own journey through grief and to listen deeply to the experience of others who are also walking the mourners path. It is a confidential place to openly express the many, sometimes difficult or conflicting emotions that arise after someone has died. The facilitators will provide guidelines for caring and respectful conversations. It is not a therapy group; the  facilitators will provide resources and ideas for further resources if appropriate.

Volunteer facilitators Ann Gonski, MSW, and Nancy Silverman, Med, MA are experienced in group facilitation and grief support. Download flyer here.
