All women of Congregation Beth El are invited to join Rabbi Stern for a monthly women’s gathering around the time of the new moon. Rosh Chodesh is the first day of each Jewish month, and traditionally is a time for women to come together for reflection, learning, and women-only conversation. We will meet as close to the day of the new moon as the calendar allows each month....

In this film, 27 Israelis and Palestinians meet in a project called “History Through the Human Eye,” led by members of the Bereaved Parents Circle-Families Forum. (Palestinians and Israelis who’ve lost loved ones to the conflict.) The goal is to acknowledge the narrative of ‘the other.’
