Jane Rachel Litman, Rabbi Educator

Beth El believes that Jewish education is lifelong. As a congregation we are enriched to have a renown feminist scholar and rabbi as our Rabbi Educator. Rabbi Litman directs the Beth El Religious School and also oversees all of our educational programs.

She is the editor of Lifecycles 2: Jewish women on Scripture, is a national consultant on moral education for diverse families, and the author of many articles on Jewish women's history and creative ritual. She obtained her rabbinical degree in 1988 from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association.
