youth groupsCongregation Beth El’s youth groups are more exciting and active than ever! We are looking forward to the final event of the year, a 4th-12th grade trip to Boomers in Livermore to play laser tag, mini golf, go karts and bumper boats on Sunday, June 6th. RSVP to Rebecca DePalma to come on this exciting trip. Drop-off & pick-up is at Congregation Beth El. We need parent volunteers to drive and/or help supervise this event. If you are able to help, then please contact Rebecca. Ruach, our 4th and 5th grade youth group had an excellent 2009-10 school year with fantastic holiday celebrations. Ruach gives students an opportunity to do fun Jewish activities with their peers. Sababa, our sixth to eighth grade youth group wants to thank their board members and participants for a fantastic 2009-10 year. Sababa events are planned by sixth to eighth graders for sixth to eighth graders. This past year we had an Purim overnight, a ski trip, a Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk trip, a fundraiser for Nothing But Nets, and much more! Mazal tov to our newly elected 2010-11 Sababa Board! Our events including a BBQ, and Cal Game, as well as participation in NFTY-CWR, our regional youth group. We are affiliated to NFTY, the North American Federation of Temple Youth giving our teens the opportunity to participate on the regional, national and international sections of the Reform movement for teens.
