Jewish history is definitely full of tragedies. But at any given moment in our history, when something horrible is happening somewhere, somewhere else in the Jewish world, something wonderful and amazing is happening.This study will take us to a window on the wonderful and amazing Rabbis, Jewish doctors and scientists, businessmen and women, philosophers and politicians, athletes, and even some famous or infamous evil-doers. Recently 'why be Jewish" is heard and read around our community.The simple answer is we are an amazing people, with a wonderful and proud history, especially without the "ughs."
