High Holy Day Virtual Food Drive

Donate to the Alameda County Community Food Bank's High Holy Day Virtual Food Drive

As is a tradition to fast on Yom Kippur, donating food to those who struggle with food insecurity is another way in which you can observe the holiday. Due to COVID-19, the Alameda County Community Food Bank is not accepting food donations but instead encourages donors to contribute financially. Every one dollar donated will provide 2 meals for children, adults, and seniors in the community.

On the food bank's webpage make sure to click on the green button to indicate that you are on Congregation Beth El's team so that your donation is counted towards reaching our $10,000 goal.
