We are starting a new group at Beth El  in July for musicians: beginner, intermediate and advance. We’ll be coming together to learn both Jewish and secular music, then playing new and old favorites together. Whether you know three chords on a guitar or can solo with the best of them, all you need is a desire to make music with others. 

We will start each group learning a Jewish song and a secular song, then spending the rest of the time playing together. We’ll have chords and lyrics available. Pianists are asked to reach out ahead of joining to help us coordinate the use of our piano. Any instrument is welcome, including just your voice!

Our hope is to have more Beth El members participating in song sessions, 4th Friday—Shabbat in the Round, all the various music programs at the Shabbaton next year, and more! For more information feel free to email Sean Holcombe.
