We hope to see you at the last Connections luncheon before our summer break.

Our speaker will be Barak Ben-Gal, congregant and CFO of Saildrone.  Saildrone, located right here in Alameda, is the world leader in designing, manufacturing, and operating Unmanned Surface Vehicles ("USVs") - which are robotic sailboats. These drone boats are used for ocean science (they even sail right into hurricanes!), ocean mapping, and ocean security. Barak will teach us about this new technology and about the uses of these "satellites of the seas".
