Count the Omer with us!

The countdown from Passover to Shavuot, called "Counting the Omer," is a 49-day journey, representing our spiritual journey toward receiving the Torah on Mt. Sinai, and it's a daily process of brief reflection, prayer - and counting!

Starting on the third evening of Passover, please join us as we count the Omer (almost) every evening from 6:00 to about 6:05 PM on Zoom.  We'll be taking our reflections primarily from Rabbi Karen D. Kedar's book, "Omer: A Counting."  On Saturday evenings, we will begin with the Havdalah ritual, signifying the end of Shabbat, before reading the day's reflection.
On Thursday, April 6, the first night of the Omer, counting will take place at the CBE second night seder, and on Monday, April 10, counting will happen during the Passover Yizkor service.  Also, on Friday evenings, the counting will occur during Friday night services.
