Join us to hear Dr. Stephanie Marquet answer your questions about these important services, when they might be indicated, and how each service can contribute to bringing choice and well-being, even during terminal or disabling illnesses.


Dr. Marquet is a graduate of UC Davis Medical School and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente East Bay where she practiced for over 20 Years. She also holds Board Certification in Palliative And Hospice Medicine. Since 2018 she has served as Associate Medical Director for several Bay Area hospice agencies, and is currently in private practice with Specialty End-Of-Life Care.

She has championed Advance Care Planning and led an early movement to train inpatient staff in end-of-life care, including symptom management, as well as communication skills in a culturally diverse community. She has served as Palliative Care attending physician as well as Hospice Medical Director and Home Health Medical Director. She also founded “A Bridge to Hospice" program to serve home-bound frail patients who do not yet qualify for hospice. Her current interests are in providing high touch, in-home support and education to patients living with serious illness who are thinking about end of life options.
