A “Beit Midrash” has historically been a “house of learning” for the Jewish community. Each week, we’ll engage on a specific topic for a night of joyful, communal, and meaningful learning!

Thursday, October 30th: Climate Justice Action

As a community, we will learn about one of TOLT’s new campaigns, Climate Justice Action. Together, we will explore how our Jewish tradition calls us to climate justice through text and conversation. We will also meet our community partners (Oakland Parks & Recreation Foundation, Common Vision, and Urban Tilth), and sign up for family-friendly tree planting and urban gardening events.
